    One Response to “PLA Conference RA-Related Programs”

    1. Barry says:

      One more RA program that folks might be interested in would be:

      Building a Readers’ Advisory Team (Talk Table)
      Thursday, March 25 10:30 AM – 11:45 AM
      Room: Oregon Convention Center – A108-109
      * Barry Trott
      Adult Services Director, Williamsburg Regional Library
      * Neil Hollands
      Adult Services Librarian, Williamsburg Regional Library

      Whether you are starting from scratch or working within an already established RA program there are challenges and opportunities to be faced. This program will examine how to hire and train RA staff, develop institutional support for readers’ advisory, and build a corporate culture of readers’ advisory at your library.
