Sex With Kings is a great choice and an interesting read.
We never mind people suggesting more and related titles–we love it! Thanks for the suggestion of “Dangerous Women.” Reminds me of the title “Sex with Kings”–about queens and royal mistresses through history, which is one of my favorite nonfiction titles ever. I hope this new title exceeds your expectations!
Hope you don’t mind if I mention another Women’s Studies/History title. Recently ordered this one for our library and can’t wait to read it. It looks like a delicious indulgence.
Dangerous Women: The Perils of Muses and Femmes Fatales Laura Adler
It covers the real and mythical powerful, seductive women of history like Cleopatra, Salome, Dalila, Helen of Troy, both in story and with stunning artwork. I’m hoping it lives up to its promise. It certainly seems like it will.
