Robert Jordan, author of the The Wheel of Time series of fantasy novels has died of a rare blood disease according to his assistant. Jordan’s works sold millions of copies and several made it to the bestseller lists–rare for genre fiction. He was working on the 12th entry in the series at the time of his death.
