Mystery Scene Magazine has published its 100th issue. It features an interview with Barry Eisler and a look at Daphne Du Maurier’s passionate life. And if you’re new to this magazine, you can buy some back issues and benefit the New Orleans Public Library.
The Private Eye Writers of America (PWA) has announced the nominees for the 26th annual Shamus Awards, given annually to recognize outstanding achievement in private eye fiction.
Publishers Weekly says librarians rule and has some photos of Librarians’ Day at the Romance Writers of America conference.
Interesting…Minette Walters says she writes “whydunits,” not “whodunits.” Can’t wait for the next one, whatever she calls it.
Sebastian Faulks has written a new James Bond novel called Devil May Care. The book will be released on May 28, 2008, which would have been Ian Fleming’s 100th birthday.
